Last year, we learned that then-57-year-old Steven Bauer had gotten involved with a then-18-year-old “Tea Party Youth Activist” named Lyda Loudon. She’s the daughter of a Missouri Republican state senator and she’s got some kind of profile in the Tea Party, I guess. She’s also a decade younger than Bauer’s son Alexander.
Well, just in case you were idly wondering “Hey, is Steven Bauer still dating a teenager?” the answer is YES. He’s still dating her. I think they’ve been together about a year and a half. Lyda and Steven were in New York this week and they got pap’d several times outside of their Manhattan hotel. I do not know if they were in town for New York Fashion Week or what. All I know is that most people would probably assume that a kindly older man is showing his daughter or granddaughter around New York for the first time.
Right now, Bauer is 58 years old. He’ll be 59 in December. I’m assuming Lyda is currently 19 years old. So… a 40 year age difference, basically.
